Pennies has a an exciting new opportunity for a forest school deputy practitioner to join our new forest school!
The role will involve assisting the forest school leader with exciting activities for a group of 16 children.
Be prepared to innovate and devise imaginatively varied ways of teaching the forest school experience to children. Encourage children and show enthusiasm for their subject indoors and outside and in the forest school sessions.
The Forest School is on a 20 acre woodland site in the beautiful Kent Countryside, not far from our Newnham Court nursery in Maidstone.
The Forest School will be open 51 weeks of the year, only closing for Bank holidays, weekends and the Christmas period.
Pennies are looking to recruit an enthusiastic qualified Level 3 early years practitioner with a a Level 1 or 2 qualification in Forest School. If you have a passion for the outdoors please get in touch.
The hours require you to work 9.5 hours a day, over 4 days, shift pattern being 7.30am to 18.00pm with an hours lunch break.
The Forest School opening hours will be between the hours of 8am to 6pm
You will need to be a confident driver.

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
